"Absolutely the best burgers. They are GIANT! Fries and onion rings are crispy and tasty. Our waitress was so sweet and kind enough to stand and talk with us for a bit. Its clean, I enjoy sitting on the dock. The view is the best as well."

"I've visited this restaurant several times over the years, and the service has consistently been friendly and quick. Honestly, I keep coming back for the frog legs, they're always worth it. The rest of the menu has been hit or miss for me, but nothing that's kept me from returning. As you walk in, the bar area tends to be a local hangout, which gives the place a laid-back, small-town vibe right from the start. The view from the back deck is also a nice bonus, a great way to relax and take a break from the road."

"I'm back in the area, but not yet home from my 11 day road trip. I stopped in Kerrville for some fish and gumbo. It was delicious! I ate at the bar, but they also have many tables and servers. Zoey, the bartender, and the regulars made me feel at home! I had the combo seafood platter with fried onion rings, fried fish, fried oysters and fried shrimp. It came with a side salad. I also had a bowl of gumbo, and an iced tea."

"We had a wonderful experience at The Boat in Kerrville! The seafood was outstanding, delicious, and full of flavor. The views along the river are beautiful and really make the experience special. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and perfect for families or a night out. Great food, great views, and a great vibe all around. Highly recommend!"

"Great place to enjoy a nice night out by the water. The food was ok, but the drinks and the service were great. Hopefully next time, we'll try some of their other dishes and see how that turns out."

- Ernesto C.

"I'm volunteering to the flood relief effort and wanted a sit down dinner so I decided to try The Boat. I had the fried catfish and substituted fries for onion rings. 1st, the onion rings were perhaps the best I have had in my adult life. 2nd, the catfish was top-shelf, perfectly cooked, seasoned, and hearty portioned for tomorrow's lunch. And the waitress was such a sweet, sweet young lady. Cool spot & great atmosphere. Highly recommended. And, the burger served to the adjacent table looked decadent. It's a winner."
